TASTE PROFILE: Bold, rich and full-bodied with a smooth finish and low bitterness, the classic dark roast coffee for drip, pour-over, French press and cold brew. Grind just before brewing to unlock the full aroma and richness of the beans.

FRESH IN THE BAG: The resealable 3-layer foil bag has a one-way valve that lets the roast gases out and keeps air out, so the beans stay fresh and aromatic until the last scoop.

How to make cold brew

Grind the beans coarse. Mix 5 parts cold water to 1 part coffee in a French press or a mason jar, stir, cover and leave it in the fridge for 12 hours. Press or strain, pour over ice, and add water or milk to taste. Smooth iced coffee with low bitterness. Cold brew keeps in the fridge for about a week.

FREE manual coffee grinder with any 2 bags. 50% of profits go to T1D families.

Gift idea: an OU Kosher coffee gift for Hanukkah (Chanukah starts Dec 4, 2026), Thanksgiving hosts and teachers. Pair it with the Swiss Decaf and the manual coffee grinder is free.

Common questions

Is this coffee OU Kosher?
Yes. The Colombian Dark Roast is OU Kosher certified and USDA Organic.

Where do the beans come from?
They are single origin Colombian Supremo Arabica beans, sourced direct from the growers with no middlemen.

How many cups does a 12 oz bag make?
About 30 cups. A 12 oz bag holds roughly 340 g of beans, which brews about 30 regular cups at 10 to 12 g per cup (fewer if you brew strong).

What grind size should I use?
Coarse for French press and cold brew, medium for drip and pour-over, fine for espresso and moka pot. Whole bean coffee lets you match the grind to your brewer.

Is Colombian coffee a dark roast?
Colombian beans can be roasted light, medium or dark; this one is a dark roast. Colombian whole bean coffee roasted dark tastes bold and rich with low acidity, which is why it suits drip, pour-over and French press.

How should I store whole bean coffee?
Reseal the foil bag or keep the beans in a sealed, airtight container away from light, heat and moisture, and grind just before brewing for the best aroma and flavor.
